We recently overheard the head of a startup company say that if a job candidate doesn’t have a quality photo on their LinkedIn profile, he won’t even call them in for an interview.

“If they don’t take care of their personal brand, how can I expect them to take care of mine?”

So yes, a quality headshot is important.

Most anyone doing business today needs a headshot.  Your headshot plays a huge role in establishing and maintaining your personal brand.  Much like a web site is a business’ virtual storefront, your headshot is your virtual introduction.  People like doing business with people, not logos, and not stock photography.

It’s time for a new headshot if you have changed your look, changed careers, or if people are “surprised” to meet you the first time after seeing your existing headshot.  You can read more about when to get a new headshot here.

Headshots are head and shoulders images.  These images need to look good as thumbnails.  Their primary purpose is to convey what an individual looks like, and to establish or build upon a “personal brand”.

Business portraits typically include more of the body. They are often presented in larger formats, and may be displayed in a business setting, or used on an executive bio.  We take the same care and pride in our business portraits that we do all of our formal portraits so you’ll look your absolute best.

We usually supply headshots in digital only formats with the file size and quality being based on the package you select.  We do not typically offer printed headshots as part of any packages, but they are available.

We’re more than happy to come to your location to create headshots for your employees or group members.  Unlike other photographers, we don’t skimp on our setup when we come onsite, because we want your headshots to look amazing no matter where they are created.  Learn more about our corporate or group headshot services here!
